I’m Manny DelaCruz. I served in the Marine Corps from 1990 to 1994 and left as a Sergeant. Since then, I’ve spent my career building software and businesses, including medical records systems. A big part of that work is making complicated information useful to the people who actually need it.
I’ve also been on the other side of the paperwork. My original VA claim was denied in 2001. After kidney failure, years of dialysis, and a transplant, I eventually received a 100% permanent and total rating in 2025. Getting there meant dealing with a system that can leave you wondering what else you’re supposed to prove. I know what that frustration feels like because I’ve lived it.
That’s why I’m building ClaimForge. Veterans should be able to understand what’s being asked of them, organize their records, and explain their claims clearly. Software can help with that. It can’t promise a decision, but it can make the process easier to navigate. You shouldn’t need a second career just to figure out how to file a claim.
